Catalyst Content Marketing ("Catalyst," "we," "us") is a social media marketing and SEO agency based in Missoula, Montana. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, catalystmt.com, and to the internal reporting tools we connect to client social media accounts, including Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

Information we collect

Website visitors. When you contact us through the site we collect the name, email address, phone number, and message you provide. Our website host may collect standard analytics such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate location.

Clients. When you hire us, we collect the business and contact information needed to deliver services and send invoices.

Social media account data. With your permission, our reporting tools connect to the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts you authorize. Through Meta's APIs we may access the list of Pages you manage, basic public profile information, Page posts, and engagement and performance metrics such as reach, impressions, likes, comments, and follower counts. We use this data only to publish content you approve and to build performance reports for you.

We do not collect Meta data about people who have not authorized our tools, and we do not access private messages.

How we use information

We use the information above to deliver the services you hired us for, publish and schedule approved content on your behalf, prepare performance reports, respond to inquiries, invoice for our work, and improve our services.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, email, analytics, scheduling, and reporting software), with your written direction, or when required by law. Data received from Meta platforms is never shared with third parties for advertising or data brokerage purposes and is used only in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Data retention and security

We keep client information for as long as we provide services and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Social media performance data is retained for reporting purposes and deleted when a client relationship ends or upon request. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information.

Your choices and data deletion

You may revoke our access to your Facebook or Instagram accounts at any time from your Meta account settings under Business Integrations or Apps and Websites. To request that we delete data we hold about you or your business, email erin@catalystmt.com with "Data deletion request" in the subject line. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
